POLICY + WARRANTY
Urban Poling Inc. (“us”, “we”, or “our”) warrant that if our outdoor fitness equipment including; ACTIVATOR, Series 300, 4Life and Spirit Poles (the “Goods”) fail due to defects in workmanship or materials, within two years from the date of purchase (the “Warranty Period”), we will, in our sole discretion, either: (i) repair or replace such Goods (or the defective part), or (ii) credit or refund the price of such Goods. THE FOREGOING IS YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AND OUR ENTIRE LIABILITY FOR ANY BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. ACTIVATOR2 Poles have a one year limited warranty.
This limited warranty does not extend to Goods that have been damaged or rendered defective: (a) as a result of vandalism, misuse, or abuse; (b) by the use of parts not manufactured or sold by us; (c) by modification of the Goods by anyone other than us; or (d) as a result of service by anyone other than us or one of our authorized warranty service provider.
EXCEPT FOR THE WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE, WE MAKE NO WARRANTY WHATSOEVER WITH RESPECT TO ANY PRODUCT WE SELL AND ANY COMPONENTS OR MOVING PARTS THEREIN, INCLUDING ANY (a) WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY; (b) WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE; OR (C) WARRANTY AGAINST INFRINGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS OF A THIRD PARTY; WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED BY LAW, COURSE OF DEALING, COURSE OF PERFORMANCE, USAGE OF TRADE OR OTHERWISE.
1. Contact us using our online contact form to receive a product return authorization.
2. A copy of your original receipt and credit card slip must accompany any return, exchange or refund.
3. Merchandise to be returned or exchanged must be received within 60 days of purchase and with the receipt.
4. Credit will be provided and/or replacement merchandise sent the same day the merchandise is received by us.
5. A $15 admin fee will be charged on all returns and exchanges.
Processing will be as follows:
For refunds, credit will be provided for the price of the merchandise and any applicable taxes, excluding shipping costs.
Exchanges will be handled on an even exchange basis. You pay the shipping back to us, we pay the shipping for sending the replacement merchandise to you.
If a return is due to a shipping error or a manufacturer’s defect, the initial shipping and return shipping charges will be waived. The original shipping charge will also be credited back to your credit card.

At Urban Poling Inc., we sometimes collect personal information from consumers via direct mail, questionnaires, sweepstakes, product packaging, in-store promotions, and through our website. However, we will not collect such information from you unless you provide it to us voluntarily and knowingly. We don’t require you to provide such information to communicate with us.
When we collect your personal information we explain how we will use it, and we will only use it for the stated purpose. If you specifically agree to follow-up contacts by us or ask to be put on our mailing list, we may also contact you from time to time.
You can change your registration information and preferences for follow-up contacts when you login to your account. Follow the instructions in the “change registration info” section.
We will not share your information with anyone outside of Urban Poling Inc., except when required or permitted by law, and with those suppliers or advertising and promotional agencies that need to have access to the information to provide the services you have requested. We protect your personal information with appropriate security measures, and we require our suppliers, advertising and promotional agencies to do the same.
Information collected through this Website
In the registration section of our website, we ask for your name and phone number and from time to time will also ask for other information. This enables us to provide you with information on new products and services and to deliver promotions and website content that is of interest to you.
Urban Poling Inc., has no intention of collecting any personal data from individuals under thirteen years of age. Where appropriate, we will specifically instruct children not to submit such information on our websites and/or will take reasonable steps to ensure parental consent to such submission.
Like many companies, we use “cookie” technology on our website. Cookies are small files that websites store on your hard drive to help their servers keep track of and manage your return sessions. We use a temporary session cookie to enable you to use the website which; it is automatically deleted at the end of a session when you exit your browser. When you log in, the cookie tells us whether you’ve visited us before or are a new visitor. The cookie doesn’t obtain any personal information about you or provide us with any way to contact you, and the cookie doesn’t extract any information from your computer. An example of this is when a browser stores your username and password. Due to the specialized requirements of your activity, your browser’s cookies must be enabled each time you access our registered member features and services.
For moderately steep slopes, simply decrease the pressure on the base of the handles or drag your poles behind you. For steep slopes, keep your poles upright and in front and out to the side slightly, so if you do fall you won’t land on your poles. Bend your knees and elbows, and slow down any momentum. For long descents, it may be helpful to lengthen the poles.
