Urban Poling was one of the first companies to bring Urban Poling (generic name is Nordic walking) to North America!  Our high performance Urban and ACTIVATOR™ Poles with the unique patent CoreGrip and have been adopted as a therapy and fitness tool by more than 3500 graduates of our training programs including diverse healthcare professionals and fitness instructors.

Provide variety in your routine, try double poling

Use the standard rhythm and technique, but swing both arms forward at the same time planting the boot tips slightly behind the handles. Then, keeping your arms straight, press down on the base of the handles, walk between your poles and feel your arms extend past your thighs and behind your body.
