Evidence-based studies clearly identify poling, with the proper training, as a healthy mode of physical activity suited for improving quality of life. Kang et al., 2016
Why ACTIVATOR Poles?
Benefits may include:
- Awareness and use of the affected side
- Functional gait pattern
- Increased gait speed, stride and walking tolerance
- Provides bilateral support
- Mitigate factors related to falls
The most dramatic success was with a mature gentleman with a mild stroke. Once he tried the Activator poles his gait improved enormously, with a more even stride cadence and length. The result was instant.

Activator Poles by far are the most effective tool I’ve ever used! Overall It’s been great for my Rehab and great for my Recovery.
Lynn Belanger, stroke client
Poles assist in maintaining proper posture but at times you may find yourself leaning forward. Remember to keep your spine erect, tummy tucked in, eyes forward, chin tucked and shoulders relaxed. And just one more thing to remember, have fun with it!
